Ober Mountain Accessibility Policy
(Effective July 1, 2025)
Statement of Commitment
Ober Mountain is committed to providing an inclusive, enjoyable, and safe experience for all guests, regardless of ability. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Tennessee Human Rights Act & Tennessee Disability Act, and other applicable accessibility regulations. Our goal is to ensure that individuals with disabilities have full and equal access to all services, facilities, attractions, and experiences offered within Ober Mountain.
Accessible Facilities and Services
We are continually working to improve Ober Mountain accessibility and offer the following accommodations:
Parking
Designated accessible parking spaces are available near all main entrances.
Spaces are clearly marked and comply with ADA requirements for size and signage.
Entrances and Pathways
All main entrances are wheelchair-accessible.
Paved, smooth, and navigable pathways connect most major areas of Ober Mountain.
Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are available throughout Ober Mountain.
Wheelchair and ECV Rentals
Guests are welcome to bring their own mobility devices.
Attraction Accessibility
Accessibility information for each ride and attraction is available at Guest Services and on our website.
Transfer devices, boarding assistance, and accessible seating are provided where applicable.
Ride access may be limited based on safety requirements related to restraint systems or ride dynamics, or manufacturer’s recommendations.

An Accessibility Guide is available online, providing details about:
Attraction access requirements.
Services for guests with hearing or visual impairments.
Quiet areas and companion rest zones.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome throughout the Main Lodge and Tram Mall area of Ober Mountain. Unfortunately, some areas and activities cannot be safely negotiated by service animals.
Training and Staff Readiness
All Ober Mountain staff receive training on:
ADA compliance and guest rights
Proper communication and assistance techniques for guests with disabilities
Emergency evacuation procedures that include guests with disabilities
