Bobcats

Our bobcat brothers, Rex and Tucker, joined Ober Mountain in 2014 from illegal animal trade as babies.

River Otters

Meet our playful otters — Harry, Odie, Apollo, and Cooper! These four were deemed non-releasable to the wild, but they've found a safe and happy home at our Wildlife Habitat, where we ensure they thrive. Join us for an otter feeding while you visit, every half hour!

Red Foxes

Our resident foxes, Buddy, Lily, and Penny, enjoy a safe and enriching life at Ober Mountain where where their curious personalities and playful antics shine!

Skunks

Introducing our trio of female, striped sweethearts — Mavis, Sassy, and Fifi! These skunks call ur Wildlife Habitat home because they do not have scent glands, meaning they can't defend themselves in the wild.

Raccoons

Bonnie, Clyde, Stony, Eden, and Casper, our albino raccoon! Each of these curious critters came into our care after being deemed non-releasable to the wild.

Corn & Black Rat Snakes

Our charming corn snakes, Mario and Tim, are a favorite amongst guest. Medusa and Hercules are our Black Rat Snakes, with a bit more of an attitude.

Fun Fact: All Corn Snakes are Rat Snakes, but not all rat snakes are corn snakes.

Bald Eagle

Tonkatoka is our newest member of our Bird of Prey. This majestic bald eagle, originally from Chattanooga, came into our care after suffering a gunshot injury and can no longer fly. While he can't return to the wild, he now has a safe and loving home with us.

Golden Eagle

Fred is our resident golden eagle, who is non-releasable and non-flighted. He's been with our team for 10 years. You can find Fred chatting away to visitors.

Squirrels

Our two adorable squirrel sisters, Tilly and Hazel, call our Wildlife Habitat home after being deemed unreleasable. Here they stay, well-fed and full squirrelly spunk.
