This summer, Ober Gatlinburg is kicking off peak adventure season with a high-energy celebration: Summer Crank-Up, a two-day event designed to launch guests straight into everything the mountain has to offer, including adventure attractions, mountain biking, and family-friendly fun.

Join us June 12–13, with special event activities running 11:00am–3:00pm, while the mountain will operate 10:00am–7:00pm both days. Guests can take advantage of limited-time deals including an Adventure Pass special and Mountain Biking Lift Specials, making it easier than ever to get outside, ride, explore, and play all day.

Food and Drink Specials

To keep everyone fueled, families can enjoy tasty “treat bundles” during the event:

• Parents: Beer + a hot dog or beer + a pretzel

• Kids: Ice cream + a cookie

Entertainment

Summer Crank-Up will also bring a full lineup of crowd-pleasing entertainment and activities, including:

• Face painting

• Live music,

• Water balloon activities

• Contests designed to keep the afternoon cool and competitive.

Complimentary Guided Tours

For an extra highlight, local bike shops will be on-site, and guests who want to venture downhill can join a complimentary guided bike tour departing at the following times:

• 11:00am

• 1:00pm

• 2:00pm

A Community Event

Guests can also look forward to fun, community-style moments throughout the day — including special appearances planned with fire trucks, and Gatlinburg Police Department with sessions on bike safety, for a family-friendly “ride along” atmosphere.
